My H1B expired in April 2008. My company is not willing to extend H1B any more due to the reason that I got EAD and I-140 approved and pending 485. Is it possible to get H1B extension from current or future company based on approved I-140? Or Is it too late?
You might wondering why do I need H1B now. I am not sure why I need H1B. Some of my friends who had trouble in their I-140/485 were able to survive with H1B. So, it looks like it is better to have dual. H1B and EAD.
Please advise.

but in this case the H1b stamp on my passport is still valid and not expired.
i am entering on nov 11th. stamp expires on december 1. why i am worried is just because the stamp is still of old employer whereas 797 is of new employer.
port of entry may ask me why didnt i get the stamp again when it is just expiring after 20 days ?? U know....

Currently moved to a different company B that transfered H1B.I have my EAD that is not been used till now. Can I use my EAD to work on a part-time job. If I use are there any issues with H1B with my current employer or any issues while travellling. As I no longer work with the company that sponspored GC would working on a part-time EAD with another company create any problem with the GC process.

As far as I know - you are considered in a period of authorized stay as long as your petition for change of status/extension of stay is pending with the USCIS. You will begin to accrue unlawful presence from the day the petition is denied, if that were to happen. The lawyers on this forum can advise you better.
OP would only be authorized to stay in the US if the change of status (COS) was filed while she was still in status. Since her status expired last April, she has been out of status since then and filing the COS did not restore her status.
OP - you really should speak with another lawyer, to be safe. You should not be relying on advice on a free forum given the seriousness of your situation.

Hi Kitiara,
I get asked to make quite a few banners for different companies and through trial and error I have found that once you have created your images in photoshop and saved them at the lowest file size as possible without losing any quality, open the images up in fireworks and create the animation there using frames as I find fireworks optimises gifs muchbetter than photoshop,
(And believe me it hurts me to say that as i'm a big photoshop fan).
I'm sure your aware also that the more frames you use the bigger the file size is going to be so its always best to use the least ammount of frames needed and adjust the frame speed of each frame to get the required effect.
By the way I love looking at the images you create when you post them do you have a tutorial website where I could create one for my nickname of The Bandit:bandit:

That is just very Basic stuff from my training courses and seminars. I don't have any of my own work I have done recently because most of that was done at my friends house before I got my own place, and I have no way of acquiring that work, but I will make some more stuff tonight.

Total anarchy!! How can this happen? EB3, June 2, 2004 was not current in June 2007!
It struck me that all these years we have taken USCIS' word on the idea that they issue green cards by PD -- they don't release any statistics on greencards issued by PD and country, so we have no idea if they do this all the time, issue green cards any which way they like!
I should add that I feel no animus against aarun, he/she is just like any one of us stuck in this lightless, informationless black box of a process, good that he/she got lucky. This incident is tremendously informative for the rest of us cos it tells us how logic free and lawless the process really is.
